Richtman is a senior from Elburn, Ill.
At the Sam Adams Classic hosted by Whitworth University in Spokane, Wash., Richtman placed first in the 3,000-meter steeplechase.
Her winning time was 30 seconds faster than the second place finisher in a largely NCAA field. It is the best time in the NAIA this season by 19 seconds.
