Olsen is a sophomore from Clearwater, Idaho.
At the WSU-Invitational at Pullman, Wash., he finished first out of 18 entrants in the 3,000 meter. Olsen’s winning time was 8:31.30 was a meet record and moved Olsen to the No.1 position in the NAIA. The field included runners included runners from NCAA D1, D2, D3, NAIA and junior colleges.
