Women’s Golfer of the Week

Bellevue’s Cziezerski finished runner-up among 43 golfers at the Ottawa (Ariz.) Fall Invitational, held Sept. 28-29 at Sterling Grove Golf and Country Club in Surprise, Ariz.
Cziezerski carded rounds of 73, 74 and 73 for a 54-hole total of 220 (4-over par) on the par-72, 6,188-yard layout. After sitting in a tie for fourth through two rounds, she moved into second place during the final round and finished just two strokes behind individual champion Bellamaria Mantini of Embry-Riddle (Ariz.).
Cziezerski recorded nine birdies and an eagle during the tournament and played 40 of 54 holes at par or better. Her performance helped Bellevue finish third among eight teams.
This is Cziezerski’s second career Erck Hotels/Frontier Conference Player of the Week honor.
