Makarus, a junior utility from Okotoks, Alberta, Canada, was named the Player-of-the-Week.

Makarus hit .500 on the week, going 10-for-20 with three doubles, four home runs, 14 RBIs, and nine runs scored as No. 22 Bellevue (Neb.) went 5-0 record.  He recorded a 1.250 slugging percentage, extending the Bruins’ winning streak to 11 games.
