Indoor Field Athlete-of-the-Week: Kori Nagel, Dickinson State (N.D.)
Clark, a senior from Center, N.D., was named the Field Athlete-of-the-Week.
Nagel won a pair of throwing titles at NCAA Division I South Dakota State Indoor Classic for Dickinson State (N.D.). She won the shot-put title with a mark of 15.33 meters (50 feet, 3.5 inches).
Nagel also shared the weight throw title with Oliviyah Thornton of Dakota State (S.D.) with a mark of 18.31 meters (60 feet, 1 inch).
Both throwing marks are NAIA ‘A’ automatic national standards. Nagel already had qualified for both throwing events earlier this season, leading the NAIA in the weight throw (19.18 meters – 62 feet, 11.25 inches) and second in the shot put (15.35 meters – 50 feet, 4.5 inches).
This is Nagel’s third career Erck Hotels/Frontier Conference Women’s Indoor Field Athlete-of-the-Week honor.
