Indoor Track Athlete-of-the-Week: Anna Schneider, Dakota State (S.D.)
Schneider, a junior from Sioux Falls, S.D, was selected to Track Athlete-of-the-Week.
She was part of the Dakota State’s (S.D.) winning 4 x 400-meter relay team with a time of 4 minutes, 2.70 seconds at Mount Marty (S.D.) Opener. The relay team finished almost 15 seconds faster than the second-place team from Mount Marty.
Schneider also placed third in the 800-meter run with a time of 2 minutes, 22.86 seconds for the Trojans.
This is Schneider’s first career Erck Hotels/Frontier Conference Women’s Indoor Track Athlete-of-the-Week honor.
