Indoor Track Athlete-of-the-Week: Mohamed Muse, Dakota State (S.D.)
Muse, a sophomore from Sioux Falls, S.D., was selected as the Track Athlete-of-the-Week.
He added another event to his national qualifying list for Dakota State (S.D.) at the Dakota Wesleyan (S.D.) Snow Tiger Invitational. He won two titles in the meet for the Trojans.
Muse was one of the anchors on the Trojan 4 x 800-meter relay that won the title in 7 minutes, 53.86 seconds, converting the time to 7 minutes, 47.18 seconds on the 200-meters course. The time also produced the NAIA ‘B’ provisional qualifying time and currently leads the NAIA.
He captured the 400-meter dash title in 50.71 seconds.
This is Muse’s first career Erck Hotels/Frontier Conference Men’s Indoor Track Athlete-of-the-Week honor.
