Men's Runner of the Week: Caleb Sarsland, Dickinson State (N.D.)
Sarsland, a junior from Bowman, N.D., was selected as the Men’s Runner of the Week.
He was the top NAIA finisher by 48 seconds at the NCAA Division II meet, the Marauders Invitational hosted by the University of Mary (N.D.). Sarsland took fifth place behind three NCAA Division I runners and a runner from Division II for the Blue Hawks.
He clocked a time of 25 minutes, 26.24 seconds in the 8K race, featuring a total of 67 runners in the field.
This is Sarsland’s first career Erck Hotels/Frontier Men’s Cross Country weekly honor.
