Women's Runner of the Week: Karly Just, Valley City State (N.D.)
Just, a senior from LaMoure, N.D., was named as the Women’s Runner of the Week.
She established VCSU’s 5K school record time of 17 minutes, 54.8 seconds in the NCAA Division II meet, the Minnesota State-Moorhead Dragon Twilight. She finished seventh overall in the field of 69 runners.
Just was the top NAIA place finisher in the 5K race, where the top six runners were from NCAA Division I schools.
This is Just’s first career Erck Hotels/Frontier Women’s Cross Country weekly honor.
