Outdoor Track Athlete-of-the-Week: Claire Bucklin, Carroll
Bucklin, a freshman from Sunburst, Mont., was chosen as the Track Athlete-of-the-Week.
She posted a personal record time of in the 400-meter hurdles for the Saints at the NCAA Division I meet. She produced the NAIA ‘B’ standard time of 1 minute, 2.94 seconds, securing a spot in her first national championship appearance in May. She finished third in the race.
Bucklin also registered a personal record in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 15.47 seconds for Carroll.
