Outdoor Track Athlete-of-the-Week: Matthew Moreni, Montana Tech
Moreni, a freshman from Helena, Mont., was chosen as the Track Athlete-of-the-Week.
He produced his personal record in the 100-meter dash, winning the title for Montana Tech at the Trudnowski Open. He finished with a time of 10.72 seconds in the race.
Moreni also produced a personal record time of 54.62 seconds in the 400-meter hurdles, finishing second in the race.
He was part of the Orediggers’ winning 4 x 100-meter relay title with a time of 42.09 seconds.
