Outdoor Track Athlete-of-the-Week: Kelsey Stensland-Plymale, Providence
Stensland-Plymale, a sophomore from Absarokee, Mont., was chosen as the Track Athlete-of-the-Week.
She won a pair of running titles during Argos’ home meet, the Providence Open. She made her 800-meter debut and won the title in 2 minutes, 24.58 seconds.
Stensland-Plymale added the 1500-meter run title after clocking a time of 4 minutes, 54.29 seconds. She was on the UP’s 4 x 400-meter relay team that finished third with a time of 4:29.81.
