Co-Outdoor Field Athlete-of-the-Week: Ayla Janzen, Montana Tech
Janzen, a freshman from Twin Bridges, Mont., and Cima, a freshman from Harrison, Mont., were selected as the Field Athlete-of-the-Week.
She captured the triple jump title at the Providence Open for the Orediggers. She produced a personal best 11.80 meters (38 feet, 8.75 inches) to win the title.
Janzen’s triple jump mark is the NAIA ‘B’ provisional qualifying mark for the national outdoor track & field meet next month. She is currently No. 14 in the NAIA triple jump performance list as of Tuesday.
