Outdoor Field Athlete-of-the-Week: Jay Jetmore, Rocky Mountain
Jetmore, a senior from Red Lodge, Mont., was selected as the Field Athlete-of-the-Week for the second straight week
He matched his season-best and NAIA ‘B’ provisional qualifying mark for the Battlin’ Bears at the Yellowjackets Open, hosted by MSU-Billings.
Jetmore cleared the pole vault mark of 4.80 meters (15 feet, 9 inches), which he cleared on the first attempt to win the event against NAIA and NCAA Division II opponents.
He is currently tied for fifth best pole vault mark in the NAIA.
