Indoor Track Athlete-of-the-Week: Madalen Shipman, Carroll
Shipman, a junior from Dillon, Mont., was selected as the Track Athlete-of-the-Week. It was her second time that she had received this weekly award.
Shipman earned second place in the 600-meter run for the Saints at the Mountain States Games College meet in Pocatello, Idaho. She clocked the NAIA ‘B’ provisional qualifying time and her personal best time of 1 minute, 36.28 seconds.
She also ran in the 1-mile run in the meet, clocking a time of 5 minutes, 17.50 seconds for Carroll.
