Indoor Field Athlete-of-the-Week: Jadyn Vermillion, Montana Tech
Vermillion, a senior from Myrtle Creek, Ore., was selected as the Field Athlete-of-the-Week for the second consecutive week. It was also her fourth time this season that she had received the league’s Field Athlete-of-the-Week award.
She continued her strong indoor track & field season for the Orediggers, taking second in the long jump at the Whitworth Indoor meet. She leaped 5.67 meters (18 feet, 7.25 inches), the NAIA ‘B’ provisional qualifying mark.
Vermillion was able to outjump athletes from Washington State, Montana, Whitworth, and others.
