Indoor Track Athlete-of-the-Week: Kelsey Stensland-Plymale, Providence
Stensland-Plymale, a sophomore from Absarokee, Mont., was selected as the Track Athlete-of-the-Week.
She established a new Providence school record in the 1-mile run at the Stacy Dragila Invitational, hosted by NCAA Division I Idaho State. She finished second in the race after clocking a time of 5 minutes, 16.35 seconds.
Stensland-Plymale was the top NAIA competitor in the race, featuring runners from NCAA Division I and II schools.
