Indoor Field Athlete-of-the-Week: Braden Tomlin, Rocky Mountain
Tomlin, a senior from Red Lodge, Mont., was selected as the Field Athlete-of-the-Week.
Tomlin vaulted the third best mark in the NAIA this season of 4.85 meters (15 feet, 11 inches), becoming the second Battlin’ Bears to hit a qualifying mark in the pole vault this season.
He captured the pole vault title at the Myrle Hanson Open, hosted by NCAA Division II Black Hills State (S.D.). with that mark. Tomlin is currently tied third best in the NAIA indoor pole vault for Rocky Mountain.
