Peterson is a 5-foot-11, 190 lbs, junior quarterback from Novato, Calif.
In addition to his conference honors, he was also named the NAIA Offensive Player of the Week.
In College of Idaho’s 41-42 home conference loss to No. 23 Rocky Mountain College, Peterson was 15 of 26 passing for 233 yards, two touchdowns and one interception. He rushed for 179 yards and four touchdowns on 20 carries.
He set a school record with six touchdowns in a single game. Peterson is just the third C of I players to surpass the 2,000-yard rushing mark in his career.
