Defense of the Week: Macy Mayer, Montana Tech
Mayer, a junior forward from Bozeman, Mont., was selected as the Defense Player of the Week.
Mayer was a big factor in MT’s 89-79 home victory over No. 14 ranked Mayville State (N.D.). She accounted for four defensive rebounds, stole the ball three times, and registered three blocked shots.
This is Mayer’s third career Erck Hotels/Frontier Conference Player of the Week award.
