Special Teams Player of the Week:  Tanner Steele, College of Idaho
Steele, a sophomore defensive back from Vale, Ore., is the Special Teams Player of the Week.

Steele was the ultimate game changer for the 19th ranked Yotes in their overtime victory over No. 10 Montana Tech.  His block came at the best-possible time as he denied Montana Tech’s game-winning PAT extra point kick with 47 seconds remaining and forced an overtime where the Yotes secured the victory.

He added five tackles, and a pass break up in the game for the College of Idaho.

This is Steele’s first career Erck Hotels / Frontier Conference Player of the Week award.
