Women’s Runner of the Week:  Hailey Watkins (Carroll)

Watkins, a freshman from Dillon, Mont., won her first career collegiate race in Billings after finishing as the top NAIA placer at her first meet in Bozeman last month.  She paced a Saints team that scored 22 points in the team win as well.

Watkins finished the 5K racecourse with a time of 18 minutes, 41.4 seconds for Carroll.

This is Watkins’ second straight Erck Hotels/Frontier Conference Runner of the Week award.
